1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Brightfield Studio website, purchasing our courses, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy and any additional terms shown on specific course pages.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use our services. You may use the site only if you can form a binding contract under applicable law.

2. Who we are

Brightfield Studio (“Brightfield Studio”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is an online school for creative and digital skills.

Company: Brightfield Studio

3. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when the latest version took effect.

If changes are material, we may notify you by email, in‑platform message or a notice on the website. Your continued use of the services after changes means you accept the updated terms.

4. Eligibility and account

To use most features, you may need to create an account and provide accurate, up‑to‑date information. You are responsible for:

  • keeping your login credentials confidential,
  • all activity occurring under your account,
  • not sharing your account with other people or selling access to it.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, our policies, or applicable law.

5. Purchases, pricing and taxes

Prices for courses and products are shown at checkout and may change from time to time. Any discounts or promotions are time‑limited unless stated otherwise.

You agree to:

  • provide a valid payment method and authorize us (and our payment providers) to charge it,
  • pay all applicable fees, taxes and charges related to your purchases,
  • ensure that your billing information is accurate and kept up to date.

If a payment fails, we may suspend access to your courses until the issue is resolved.

6. Refunds

Our Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for purchases made from Brightfield Studio. By purchasing our courses, you agree that refunds, if any, will be governed by that policy.

In most cases, refunds are limited to a defined period after purchase and depend on your level of course consumption and use of live or personalized services.

7. License to use courses

When you purchase access to a course, you receive a personal, limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to view the content for your own educational use, subject to these terms and any course‑specific conditions.

Unless explicitly allowed in writing, you must not:

  • copy, reproduce or distribute course content to others,
  • resell, rent, share or sublicense your access,
  • remove or alter copyright notices or branding,
  • use course materials to create competing products or training.
8. Intellectual property

All content on the site and within courses (including videos, text, graphics, design, templates, audio and other materials) is protected by intellectual property laws and remains the property of Brightfield Studio or its licensors.

Nothing in these terms grants you ownership of any intellectual property. Any rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. User content and conduct

You may be able to submit content, such as comments, assignments, projects or messages. You remain responsible for the content you submit and must ensure that it:

  • does not infringe the rights of others (including copyright and privacy),
  • is not illegal, harmful, hateful, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate,
  • does not contain unauthorized advertising, spam or malicious code.

By submitting content, you grant Brightfield Studio a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use, display and reproduce that content in connection with the operation and improvement of the services (for example, in internal training or anonymized examples), unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We may remove or restrict content that violates these terms or applicable law.

10. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use the site or courses to:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation,
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, data or accounts,
  • interfere with or disrupt the operation of the website or platform,
  • copy, scrape or systematically download content in bulk,
  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation,
  • share login details or allow others to use your account.
11. Service availability and modifications

We aim to provide a stable learning environment but do not guarantee that the site or courses will be available at all times without interruption or error.

We may modify, update, suspend or discontinue parts of the services (such as features, content or pricing) at any time, for example for maintenance, improvements or business reasons.

12. Disclaimers

Courses and materials are provided for educational purposes only and do not guarantee specific results, income, employment or business outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non‑infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brightfield Studio and its owners, employees, partners and contractors will not be liable for:

  • any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages,
  • loss of profits, revenues, data, business opportunities or goodwill,
  • any damages exceeding the amount you paid for the course or product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, in cases of intentional misconduct or situations where local consumer rules require protection).

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brightfield Studio and its affiliates, employees and partners from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • your use of the services,
  • your violation of these Terms of Service,
  • your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the services, in whole or in part, if:

  • you materially or repeatedly breach these terms or other policies,
  • we are required to do so by law or a competent authority,
  • we decide to discontinue the service or any part of it.

You may stop using the services at any time. Termination does not affect rights and obligations that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, limitations of liability and dispute clauses).

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Brightfield Studio is legally registered, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the services will, where allowed by law, be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

Consumers in certain countries may have the right to bring claims in their local courts under mandatory law; in such cases, those rules prevail over any conflicting provision here.

17. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our prior written consent.
